What is the difference between a woven bag and a non woven bag?
Most people who ask us for a "woven bag" are actually looking for a NON WOVEN BAG, the soft fabric-like tote used for events, retail and F&B. A PP WOVEN BAG is the stiffer, glossier weave you see on IKEA and 99 Speedmart carriers. They are two different materials for two different jobs. If you are not sure which one you need, send us a photo of what you have in mind and we will tell you which it is.
Kebanyakan orang yang tanya kami pasal "woven bag" sebenarnya cari NON WOVEN BAG, beg kain lembut yang selalu guna untuk event, kedai dan F&B. PP WOVEN BAG pula yang lebih keras dan berkilat, macam beg IKEA atau 99 Speedmart. Dua bahan berbeza untuk dua kegunaan berbeza. Should I choose non woven or PP woven?
It comes down to budget and quantity. PP woven costs more than non woven. Non woven suits most event, retail and F&B use. PP woven is worth it when the bag needs to carry more weight or look more premium.

What is the minimum order for custom bags?
100 pieces for non woven, PP woven and canvas bags, because we hold those in ready stock. Laminated non woven bags start at 5,000 pieces as they are custom made. Cooler bags are 500 or 5,000 depending on the style. The largest single order we have run is 126,000 pieces, there is no practical upper limit.

How much does a custom bag cost in Malaysia?
An A4 non woven bag (28 × 33 × 8 cm, 100gsm) with a 1-colour print on one side starts from RM1.50 per piece at 1,000 pieces, shipping in 3 to 5 days. Every other combination is quoted, because price moves with size, artwork and quantity: the gap between 100 pieces and 1,000 pieces can be RM1 to RM2 per bag.

What is gsm, and what weight should I choose?
Gsm is the fabric weight. Ours is 100gsm made from virgin fabric. A lot of what circulates in the market is 75 to 80gsm, mostly imported from China, often not virgin material or stored long enough to start oxidising, which is why some buyers think non woven bags tear easily. They are describing old stock, not the material.
Gsm ialah berat kain. Kami guna 100gsm daripada kain baru. Banyak yang ada di pasaran 75 hingga 80gsm, kebanyakannya import dari China, selalunya bukan kain baru atau dah lama simpan sampai mula teroksida, sebab tu ada pembeli ingat non woven bag senang koyak. Mereka cerita pasal stok lama, bukan pasal bahan tu.
Do non woven bags tear easily?
Not when they are made from new fabric. Every bag we supply carries 10kg without an issue. Bags that fail are usually old imported stock where the fabric has been sitting and oxidising before it ever reached the buyer.
Tidak, kalau guna kain baru. Setiap beg yang kami bekal boleh tahan 10kg tanpa masalah. Beg yang rosak biasanya stok import lama yang kainnya dah teroksida sebelum sampai ke tangan pembeli.
Are non woven bags actually eco-friendly?
The environmental case is not about the material on its own. It is that one bag replaces many single-use plastic bags because it gets reused. A non woven bag that is used once is not doing anything for anyone.
Kelebihan alam sekitar bukan pada bahan itu sendiri, tapi sebab satu beg boleh ganti banyak plastik sekali guna, asalkan ia diguna berulang kali. Non woven bag yang guna sekali je memang tak bantu sesiapa.
What is a tote bag?
A tote bag simply means a bag with handles. It is not a material. Non woven, PP woven and canvas bags can all be tote bags, so asking for "a tote bag" does not yet tell a supplier what to quote.
Tote bag maksudnya beg yang ada pemegang. Ia bukan jenis bahan. Non woven, PP woven dan canvas semuanya boleh jadi tote bag, jadi bila minta "tote bag" sahaja, supplier masih belum tahu nak quote apa.
What printing methods are available, and can you print gradients?
Yes, gradients are possible. Locally we run three methods: silkscreen, the cheapest, for spot colours in one, two, three or more colours; DTF heat transfer, the most expensive, for vivid full-colour and gradient logos on smaller runs; and sublimation, cheaper than DTF, for gradient artwork over large print areas. Local printing takes 1 to 2 weeks. A fourth method, laminated printing, gives the best colour and quality at the lowest unit price but starts at 5,000 pieces and is only produced in China, taking 45 to 60 days.
